Holders of the supplementary qualification “Food Sales Advisor” work in a food retail environment. They adopt a proactive sales approach whilst complying with health and safety regulations relating to foodstuffs and prepared foods.  They help to develop personalised and long-term customer relationships.

Upon completion of the training, the candidate will be able to:

  • stock the sales area with food products
  • showcase the product range
  • advise on and sell these products
  • build customer loyalty and develop commercial relationships.

This Level 3 specialisation certificate is divided into two skill blocks. Each unit corresponds to a skill block and an assessment, for which candidates receive a certificate recognising the acquisition of the skills comprising each block. The qualification is awarded upon achieving an average mark of over 10/20 across all assessments. Candidates who have already successfully completed certain skill blocks may be exempted from the corresponding assessments.
