Acquire the methods and knowledge needed to manage a VSE/SME and to do this:

- Mobilise economic and legal tools in negotiations with banks. - Carry out the administrative management of contracts. - Knowing how to put together a business model and a business plan. - Negotiating and arguing in commercial negotiations. - Applying customer/supplier prospecting and negotiation methods. - Use the reference digital tools and IT security rules to acquire, process, produce and distribute information and to collaborate internally and externally. - Identify, select and analyse with a critical mind various resources in his/her specialist field to document a subject and summarise this data with a view to using it. - Analyse and summarise data with a view to using it. - Develop arguments with a critical mind. - Use the different levels of written and oral expression in French with ease. - Communicate orally and in writing, clearly and unambiguously, in at least one foreign language. - Identify and situate the professional fields potentially related to the achievements of the mention as well as the possible routes to access them.

- People with a level 5 in the field of small business and craft management or capitalising on 120 ECTS*,

- People with a level 5 outside the field of management after studying their application and possible bridging training,

- People with level 3 and 4 with significant experience in the sector via a VAP85 procedure,

- People wishing to validate their professional experience.

Equivalences and pathways: to be assessed on a case-by-case basis depending on the candidate’s background:

After a Professional Bachelor’s Degree in Managing and Developing a Micro-enterprise or SME, several further study options or career paths are available. This degree is normally designed for direct entry into the workforce, but certain pathways exist.

  1. Direct entry into the workforce
    Common career paths:
  • SME management manager or assistant
  • Business development officer
  • Junior administrative and financial manager
  • Project or business development officer
  • Entrepreneur / business founder or buyer
  1. Master’s degree (subject to the institution’s acceptance)
    Entry is not automatic, as the vocational bachelor’s degree is employment-oriented. However, some universities or schools accept applications based on academic record:
  • Master’s in SME/SMI Management
  • Master’s in Business Management and Administration (MAE / IAE)
  • Master’s in Entrepreneurship and Project Management
  • Master’s in Strategic Management
    Admission depends on the application, the career plan and, in some cases, a refresher course.
  1. Business schools
    Some business schools accept holders of a vocational bachelor’s degree via alternative admission routes (entrance exam or application) to join:
  • Grande École programme (Master’s level)
  • MSc or specialised programmes in management, entrepreneurship or business.
  1. University diplomas or further training
  • University Diploma (DU) in entrepreneurship or management
  • Courses in accounting, project management or digital marketing
  • Professional certifications (management, HR, business).
  1. Starting or taking over a business
    The Bachelor’s degree also prepares students for:

  • setting up a micro-enterprise
  • taking over a family-run or craft-based SME
  • developing a self-employed business.

Education Nationale certified teachers, Bac +3 trainers with significant experience in adult training, professional speakers. trainers accredited by the national CNAM.

Experienced trainers in the individualisation of learning.
