The Diplôme de Spécialisation Professionnelle (DSP) is a diploma at level 4 of the French qualifications grid, awarded by a higher education establishment after a year's training following the baccalauréat. It confers the same rights on all its holders, regardless of the institution that awarded it. Access is selective. Its primary purpose is immediate professional integration. It therefore certifies a set of skills corresponding to a professional target, and includes a significant amount of work experience.
This course is structured around four skill blocks:
BC01 - Acting responsibly within a professional organisation
Situating one's role and mission within an organisation in order to adapt and take initiatives
Respecting the principles of ethics, deontology and environmental responsibility
Working in a team and network as well as autonomously and responsibly in the service of a project
Analysing one's actions in a professional situation, self-evaluate in order to improve one's practice
Take into account the issue of disability and accessibility in each of one's professional actions
BC02 - Communicate orally and in writing in a professional context
Write a text, report, project, letter according to the standards of communication and the use of language.
Speak in a professional context, respecting the codes and usages.
Communicate in a foreign language.
Use digital tools related to the professional field.
BC03 - Gathering tourist demand, informing and advising the customer
Structuring, organising and distributing tourist and leisure information using appropriate communication media
Welcoming customers and informing them about a region's tourist offer
Welcoming customers with disabilities and proposing adaptations in line with the situation
Advising customers in response to their needs, to the possibilities offered by the area, incorporating data on changes in tourist behaviour
Sell a service or product linked to a tourist activity, sports or leisure activity
BC04 - Participate in the design, organisation and production of a tourist product or event
Manage customer databases in compliance with regulations
Organise the conditions of a tourist stay, cultural, sporting stay for a clientele
Create and implement festive, cultural events
Participate for your structure in the network of local players in the field of tourism (tourist offices, players in the local tourism ecosystem....)

Have a baccalaureate in technology (STT) or a general or vocational baccalaureate or other level IV diploma with an orientation towards the tourism sector.
