CS - Welding Technician Specialisation Certificate

The holder of the complementary qualification "Welding Technician" knows how to decode and interpret documents, analyse and/or check all or part of the parameters of a welding operation, communicate orally and in writing, including in English, weld independently in the workshop and on site, check the quality of welds and assembled components, comply with safety and environmental procedures, and guarantee the availability of welding equipment. He/she makes welds that meet the conditions prescribed by the welding specifications in compliance with the descriptions of the welding or repair welding procedures (DMOS or DMOSR).

Skill blocks:

BC01 - Analysing and exploiting data preparatory to a job:

- Decoding and interpreting documents

- Analysing and determining operating data

BC02 - Prefabricating and checking all or part of a piping line:

- Carry out all or part of a prefabricated piping line

- Check the quality and conformity of all or part of a piping line

BC03 - Carrying out, assembly and site management carried out in a professional environment

- Communicate orally and in writing, including in English

- Carry out the assembly and/or dismantling of all or part of a piping line

- Carry out all or part of a piping line on site

- Comply with safety and environmental procedures
