At the end of their training, lift maintenance operatives will be able to:
- carry out various preventive or corrective maintenance operations aimed at ensuring the upkeep and smooth running of a fleet of lifts and their breakdown in the event of an alert, fault or breakdown.
- intervene as part of a maintenance contract mainly on lifts, and sometimes on escalators, moving walkways (horizontal or on inclined planes known as "travelators"), goods lifts, stairlift seats, dumbwaiters, or vertical platforms.
- carry out work both on components and their associated programming, and on mechanical, hydraulic, IT and EEEA-related assemblies (electricity, electronics, electrical engineering, automation).
- adapt to the constraints, specific safety rules and authorisations associated with work sites and assess the risks: prepare and organise your work rigorously, adapt it to customers and users and choose specific protective equipment

By the end of the training, the professional will have obtained all the specific authorisations enabling him/her to: work on installations, handle electrical equipment or handling equipment, and/or work at height (work in an electrical cabinet or switchboard, handle a lifting device, work on scaffolding, etc...).
