The Regional Council's training courses with ESF co-funding:

The Region affirms, through its Schéma Régional de Développement Economique, d'Innovation et d'Internationalisation and its Contrat de Plan Régional pour la Formation et l'Orientation Professionnelles, that vocational training is a factor of attractiveness and international influence.

The regional strategy for purchasing continuing vocational training enables us to anticipate the need to renew the workforce, respond to recruitment difficulties and tensions in the professions and design the training courses of tomorrow within companies.The training courses funded by the South Region focus on: 

• priority areas including Industry, Tourism, Agriculture and agri-food, Commerce, Culture and Construction
• future training for the jobs of tomorrow
• enhancing employability, accessibility and securing career paths
  
• the implementation of new training methods: distance / hybrid
  
• better identification of illiteracy, illiteracy and learning difficulties ("DYS" disorders)
  
• strengthening the Training/Employment link on an ongoing basis and on leaving training
