BTS in Aesthetics, Cosmetics and Perfumery - Option A Management

The holder of this BTS option Management acquires in-depth knowledge of cosmetic products and their marketing, from scientific, regulatory, economic and technical aspects, based on a mastery of aesthetic techniques. It will be able to carry out the following activities:

• Designing and producing innovative aesthetic services
• Using innovative aesthetic techniques
• Dynamising the commercial offer and customer relations
• Analysing development needs
  
• Participating in the design or production of an innovative project in line with the company's social responsibility (CSR)
• Communicating with the company's various departments and partners

Option A enables the holder of the BTS to acquire in-depth knowledge in the management of a commercial entity in the field of beauty and well-being

The course is organised into several skill modules, enabling step-by-step progression. It alternates between theoretical input, practical application and assessment sessions to promote practical and progressive learning.

BC01 - Developing beauty treatments and beauty and wellbeing services that respect ecological transitions

• Designing or delivering innovative beauty treatments and services
• Designing or delivering a treatment using ultraviolet radiation (UV)
• Design or carry out demonstrations of innovative aesthetic techniques
• Enhance the commercial offering and customer relations

BC02 - Design or implement all or part of a project for a company, a business unit or a department

• Analyse the needs of a company, a business unit, a department
• Contribute to the design or implementation of a project in collaboration with a company, whilst adhering to CSR principles
• Communicate with the company’s various departments and its partners

BC03 - Manage a commercial entity in the beauty and wellbeing sector (Option A)

• Design the business project and implement strategic management
• Oversee operational management
• Manage human resources
• Boost the performance of a retail outlet

Communication in a modern foreign language A

CEFR Level B2 for the following language skills:

Written and oral comprehension, production and interaction

Throughout the programme, learners receive personalised support with regular monitoring by the teaching team and progress reviews to tailor the learning experience to each individual’s needs.

A work placement also enables learners to develop professional skills in a real-world setting.

Skills are assessed progressively through role-plays, practical exercises, professional assignments and assessments carried out throughout the course.

Assessments are organised throughout the course and at the end of the programme, in accordance with the qualification framework. Assessment tests may take the form of in-course assessments (CCF) and/or final examinations.

Support with exam preparation is provided throughout the course to help candidates succeed.

This qualification is awarded following validation by the academic examination board.

If a candidate fails the qualification, they retain credit for the modules they have passed and may retake the remaining examinations at a later date. The modules passed remain valid for 5 years
