Acquire skills relating to complex diagnostic, preventive and corrective maintenance activities on vehicles equipped with internal combustion, hybrid and electric powertrains:
- complex preventive and corrective maintenance of vehicles;
- complex diagnosis of mechanical systems, powertrains and electronically managed, multiplexed systems and powertrain components of electric and hybrid vehicles;
- customer reception and follow-up;
- organisation of the after-sales workshop;
- marketing of services and products.
with ongoing consideration of the following imperatives:
- occupational health/safety imperative: this involves safeguarding people's health and ensuring the prevention of occupational hazards;
- environmental imperative: this involves applying current environmental standards;
- quality imperative: this involves contributing to the constant improvement of customer satisfaction by applying internal company procedures.
The course is organised into several skill modules, enabling step-by-step progression. It alternates between theoretical input, practical application and assessment sessions in order to promote practical and progressive learning.
Vocational training modules:
BC01 - Diagnosing vehicle systems
BC02 - Manage customer relations and the marketing of vehicle after-sales products and services
BC03 - Organise vehicle maintenance activities
BC04 - Carry out corrective maintenance on vehicles
General education modules: French and communication; Mathematics; Physics and Chemistry; English
Throughout the course, learners receive personalised support with regular monitoring by the teaching team and progress reviews to tailor learning to each individual’s needs.
A work placement also enables students to develop their professional skills in a real-world setting.
Skills are assessed progressively through role-plays, practical exercises, professional projects and assessments carried out throughout the course.
Our teaching methodology prioritises a practical, work-focused approach: case studies, role-plays, practical scenarios and collaborative activities enable learners to learn in conditions that closely resemble the real-world workplace.

Assessments are organised throughout the course and at the end of the programme, in accordance with the qualification framework. Assessment tests may take the form of in-course assessments (CCF) and/or final examinations.
Support with exam preparation is provided throughout the course to help candidates succeed.
This qualification is awarded following validation by the academic examination board.
If a candidate fails the qualification, they retain credit for the modules they have passed and may retake the remaining examinations at a later date. The modules passed remain valid for 5 years

Workshop receptionist, service advisor, team or unit manager, diagnostics technician, manufacturer's technical advisor are the most common jobs and functions in after-sales departments.
The vocational licences available (bac+3) concern the mechanical engineering sector (engineering sciences, industrial techniques pathway, electronic equipment) and the bodywork sector (technology, maintenance of multi-technology systems). A technical-commercial orientation can also be envisaged.
After 2 years of vocational baccalaureate Vehicle Maintenance option Public Works, Alicia began a salaried job in machine maintenance.
Passionate about motor vehicles, and confident of her potential, Alicia returned to training through apprenticeship to take a BTS Vehicle Maintenance option Private Vehicles. Top of her class in 2022, she now holds a leading position within the company that trained her.
