The holder of this BTS is a technician and operational manager with a solid knowledge of plastics processing. The technician's field of activity for this option POP covers production monitoring, in compliance with specifications (costs, deadlines, quality and compliance objectives), safety rules and sustainable development issues, and makes graduates capable of taking responsibility for a workshop or production cell and supervising teams.

At the end of their training, graduates will be able to:

The course is organised into several skill modules, enabling step-by-step progression. It alternates between theoretical input, practical exercises and assessment sessions to promote hands-on, progressive learning.

BC01 – Responding to a project: Preliminary design

  • Analysing a design brief.
  • Identifying technologies and means of implementation.

BC02 – Industrial project: Detailed design and industrialisation

  • Carry out technical research and utilise documentation.
  • Design parts, processes and tooling using CAD.
  • Define production processes, tests and environments.
  • Plan and manage industrialisation.
  • Validate production resources and optimise performance.

BC03 – Collaborative optimisation project

  • Participate in a collaborative project.
  • Justify technical choices.
  • Optimise products and processes.

BC04 – Production management

Throughout the programme, learners receive personalised support with regular monitoring by the teaching team and progress reviews to tailor the learning to each individual’s needs.

A work placement also enables participants to develop professional skills in a real-world setting.

Skills are assessed progressively through role-plays, practical exercises, professional projects and assessments carried out throughout the course.

Our teaching methodology prioritises a practical, work-focused approach: case studies, role-plays, practical scenarios and collaborative activities enable learners to learn in conditions that closely resemble the real working world.
