 BTS Accounting and Management

On completion of this course, the holder of the diploma will be able to take charge of the accounting and management activities of a company or association, either in-house or as an external service provider.

He/she will be able to reliably commit or carry out:

- the accounting recording of commercial transactions and their control,
- the establishment and verification of transactions linked to year-end work and financial documents,
- the examination, control and validation of accounts,
- the administrative and accounting activities of personnel management, linked to the preparation of the payroll,
- carrying out tax work
- drawing up returns for government departments,
- analysing the performance of organisations (cost calculations and analysis, cash management, financial analysis),
- preparing for decision-making by producing reliable and organised information,
- archiving, filing documents.


The course is organised into several skill modules, enabling step-by-step progression. It alternates between theoretical input, practical exercises and assessment sessions to promote hands-on, progressive learning.

BC01 – Accounting, Tax and Social Security Analysis

  • Carry out accounting, tax and social security tasks.
  • Apply current procedures and regulations.
  • Use the tools and justify the processing carried out.

BC02 – Accounting, Tax and Social Security Practices

  • Implement accounting procedures.
  • Use the accounting information system effectively.
  • Explain and justify the work carried out.

BC03 – Management and Financial Analysis

Analysis and forecasting of business activity:

  • Identify the cost structure
  • Calculate, monitor and analyse the production costs of the organisation’s activities, products and services of the organisation
  • Ensure the forecasting and monitoring of business activity
  • Ensure the implementation of budget management
  • Develop operational dashboards

Analysis of the financial situation:

  • Analysing the organisation’s performance
  • Analysing the profitability of an investment
  • Analysing the organisation’s financial stability
  • Analysing the organisation’s cash flow and solvency
  • Analysing financing arrangements
  • Analysing the dynamics of cash flows

BC04 – Organisation of the accounting information system

  • Analysing and optimising the accounting information system.
  • Monitor developments in accounting, tax and social security matters.
  • Ensure the reliability and quality of information.

General and cross-disciplinary areas : mathematics, general knowledge, a modern foreign language, economics and law.

Throughout the programme, learners receive personalised support with regular monitoring by the teaching team and progress reviews to tailor learning to each individual’s needs.

A work placement also enables students to develop professional skills in a real-world setting.

Skills are assessed progressively through role-plays, practical exercises, professional projects and assessments carried out throughout the course.

Our teaching methodology prioritises a practical, work-focused approach: case studies, role-plays, practical scenarios and collaborative activities enable learning in conditions that closely resemble the real-world workplace.

Maximum total duration of 3,650 hours, including 2,300 hours in a company and 1,350 hours at the training centre.
The duration of the course is indicative and will be determined according to your profile.

Assessments are organised throughout the course and at the end of the programme, in accordance with the qualification framework. Assessment tests may take the form of in-course assessments (CCF) and/or final examinations.

Support with exam preparation is provided throughout the course to help candidates succeed.

This qualification is awarded following validation by the academic examination board.

If a candidate fails the qualification, they retain credit for the modules they have passed and may retake the remaining examinations at a later date. The modules passed remain valid for 5 years

The aim of the BTS is professional integration as an accounting assistant, sole accountant, accounting assistant, accounting manager, client accountant, supplier accountant, payroll manager, management controller assistant, financial and accounting management assistant, ... in a company or firm.

Further study is possible in a professional degree in the finance-accounting, human resources or business management sectors, in a DCG, in a degree (L3 economics-management, management or AES), in a business and management graduate school on parallel admission.
