Assemble and disassemble an aircraft or parts of an aircraft:

• Prepare a maintenance task.
• Integrating, fitting, removing, assembling and disassembling aircraft sub-assemblies

Carrying out tests and adjustments (for the avionics and structure options) / Carry out tests, adjustments and aircraft operations (for the systems option):

• Adjust a sub-assembly (for all 3 options)
• Carry out tests and diagnostics (for all three options)
• Operate an aircraft (only for the systems option)

Build and inspect systems:

• Manufacture components (only for the avionics and structure options)

• Carry out checks following maintenance work (for all three options).

The training course is organised into several skill modules, enabling step-by-step progression. It alternates between theoretical input, practical exercises and assessment sessions to encourage practical and progressive learning.

Throughout the programme, learners receive personalised support with regular monitoring by the teaching team and progress reviews to tailor learning to each individual’s needs.

The work placement also enables learners to develop professional skills in a real-world setting.

Skills are assessed progressively through role-plays, practical exercises, professional projects and assessments carried out throughout the course.

Our teaching methodology favours a practical, work-oriented approach: case studies, role-plays, practical scenarios and collaborative activities enable learners to learn in conditions that closely resemble the real working world.

Education Nationale certified teachers, Bac +3 trainers with significant experience in adult education, professional lecturers.

Assessments are organised throughout the course and at the end of the programme, in accordance with the qualification framework. Certification assessments may take the form of in-course assessments (CCF) and/or final examinations.

Support with exam preparation is provided throughout the course to help candidates succeed.

This qualification is awarded following validation by the academic examination board.

If a candidate fails to obtain the qualification, they retain the credits for the modules they have passed and may retake the outstanding examinations at a later date. The modules passed remain valid for 5 years.

Apprenticeship training: Training is available within a minimum of 48 hours, subject to validation of your application and the position in the company (diploma compliance), until the end of the 1st month in which the action begins.

Access the following careers: Aeronautical technician, aeronautical maintenance technician, airframe mechanic.

They carry out their work on the tarmac, in a hangar, in a workshop or in a laboratory.

Continue your studies with a BTS in Aeronautics or other BTS programmes in the Industry sector (BTS CPI, CPRP, CIRA, etc.)
